We’ve written in the past about the steadily mounting interest by private equity investors in various physician practice specialties. When pursuing these opportunities, it’s important for investors to understand the different options that physician sellers may be considering — options ranging from hospital employment, to sale to a regional private-equity backed group, to merger of two or more practices in the same market.
