Intelligent Medical Objects has announced it has received a capital growth investment from funds affiliated with Warburg Pincus.
Intelligent Medical Objects (IMO), based in Northbrook, Ill., develops medical terminology solutions for electronic health record systems.
Warburg Pincus, headquartered in New York, is a PE firm that takes a long-term perspective and invest in businesses at all stages of development. It invests healthcare and several other sectors.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. IMO indicated the investment will be used, in part, to support company expansion.
