Wellspring Capital Management has acquired Caring Brands International from Levine Leichtman Capital Partners, according to this news release and this news release.
Caring Brands, based in Sunrise, Fla., is a global franchisor of home healthcare services. The company operates under three brands, with Interim HealthCare as its U.S. brand. Founded in 1966, Caring Brands states that Interim has more than 325 locations and more than 100 owners nationwide.
Wellspring, based in New York, is a middle market private equity firm with approximately $2 billion of private equity capital under management. Founded in 1995, the firm pursues controlling investments in companies with $100 million to $1 billion in enterprise value and $20 million to $100 million in EBITDA in healthcare services and several other sectors.
Levine Leichtman Capital Partners, based in Beverly Hills, Calif., makes structured equity investments in middle market companies located primarily in the United States. Founded in 1984, the firm invests in healthcare and several other industries.
